Lockdown Episode 1 & 2 – Music At Its Best

ZEE5 has come up with an interesting show, ‘Lockdown’. A musical reality show, this show is unlike any other regular music show, owing to the varying concept. Featuring singers from different backdrops, this show follows a concept where two singers collaborate to create a new song, within a span of 24 hours. With the constrained deadline given to them, in a completely different location, the singers graciously take up this challenge and show their sheer creativity and talent to the audiences. Singers from Badshah to Jonita Gandhi, Kailash Kher to Raja Kumari, Benny Dayal to Bryden and Parth, Harrdy Sandhu to Neha Bhasin, and many more. With these talented singers teaming up to create wonderful melodies, this show is hard to miss and with the different concept it features, you will get to experience a new world of music altogether.

Episode 1:

The first episode features Badshah and Jonita Gandhi Watching the trailer for this episode will give you a sneak peek into the songs they have recreated within such a short period of time. The episode talks about how the two come together and venture into the world of music by shooting as well as editing the song within a day’s time. The two songs they recreated are Tip Tip Barsa Paani and a Punjabi folk song, Kala Jora.

Episode 2:

The second episode features Sufi and Indian folk singer Kailash Kher and YouTube sensation and Indo American rapper and Raja Kumari. This duo lands in Norbulingka Institute, situated in the town of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The beauty of this town becomes an inspiration for their songs, which they manage to bravely craft in a period of 24 hours. The two songs that they create are Mera Piya Ghar Aya and Kaun Hai Woh, from the movie Baahubali: The Beginning.
This show has a unique concept, which has managed to keep the audiences in a loop. Apart from getting a chance to listen to beautiful melodies, we also get a chance to know the real journey of these singers.

    People want some interesting music shows other than the regular reality shows. Though the reality shows have helped to discover several talents,a watching the same thing for many years will make it boring. I hope the new show which is being launched by ZEE5 will bring a change.
